What can I do?Hello @Revfiddle ,Yes, your Ring App needs to remain running in order for it to receive Notifications. After you complete the log in procedures on your phone's Ring App, as long as you do not log out, the Ring App should continue to run in the background. You can even close the app's display on your phone ("X" close it, not log out of the Ring App).As a good security practice, you should also utilize your phone's "Lock Screen" timeout feature, so now a stranger cannot access your Ring App nor other sensitive/private information on your phone.I hope you find this helpful. :)
