Why can’t the base station be configured to play a noise when the doorbell is ringed? It obviously has a speaker and can be triggered by contact sensors to make a sound… so what’s the difficulty in implementation here?
Because then you don’t have to buy their Chime product!

Hi @user56912. At this time, Doorbell alerts cannot be played through the Base Station. This option has been requested before, which you can find here on our Feature Request board.
