Has ability to customize chime sound on Video Doorbell been removed?

Question

I can't find a way to customize the ring sound on my doorbell (video doorbell 4) anymore.  I was able to do this last year (halloween, christmas, etc) but the option seems to have been removed.  As far as I can tell, they're pushing me to buy an extra 'chime' device - which I don't want and clearly don't need if it was able to be customized before.  Am I missing something?

Hi @rjnca. I would start by making sure that your Ring app is up to date, as well as your phones OS. From there, you should be able to change your [App Alert Tones](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005889863-How-to-Use-Ring-App-Alert-Tones).

Just noticed that I am unable to change tone in doorbell(not app). I have had a gen 1 then gen 4 since 2017 and was previously able to change the tone . Ring chat agent wrongly days this feature was never an option. Grrrr.
