Hi

I’m just about fed up with this ring video doorbell. We installed it as hardwired but the app doesn’t show it as such and is feeding from the internal battery. All systems on the app are crystal clear. Could it be a bad bracket? I’ve installed and reinstalled the app several times and the outcome is always the same. Power Source on the app shows battery. I’m running out of suggestions and patience. Thanks in advance!

you have to set your doorbell in “device settings” after hard wiring the ring…on your app, click on your camera picture, then at the top right, click on the gear icon, from here you will have folder choices, click on the floder that says device settings, then in-home chime settings to configure your harwired doorbell. hope this helps
