Hardwired Doorbell White Light

I have seen a few topics regarding this issue but it seems that there is still no fix even though it is a concern from many Ring users.
Has anyone managed to turn off the continuous white light on a hardwired door bell or is there plans for Ring to actually introduce an update to allow the light to be switched off?
I have recently hardwired my battery powered doorbell and I did not realise that the light around the push button would remain on.
Ring - please introduce a toggle or feature on the app to disable this.

Hi @Forrest2020. The dim white LED cannot be turned off. Other neighbors have requested this option before on our Feature Request board. You can locate this request here. I’d recommend adding your feedback and vote to that request.
