I recently purchased a hardwired power supply for my ring doorbell version 2 , when I first installed it , the battery was 100% and the front was illuminated solid white , after a few days the front illuminated light went out! And the battery power dropped in 2 hours ! I’ve contacted ring customer service to no avail , so my question is what’s changed ?? I understand the charger may not meet doorbell demand , but why doesn’t the light illuminate, the power supply transformer is warm and it’s showing hardwired in the app , but what’s changed ? It should be illuminated all the time when hardwired ! Ring customer service just say everything is fine and cannot explain why the light no longer illuminates and the battery is dropping ! Any ideas ??
