i have a 2nd gen video doorbell . And 2nd gen power supply which is 24vdc output.
looking at the back of the doorbell which side left or right do i connect the positive wire. looking at the label on back it says the doorbell is compatible with 24 vac but you can use 24vdc as well . This is confusing me.
Hi @Edgeville. Are you using the Plug-In Adapter (2nd Generation)? It doesn’t matter which color cable is connected to which terminal on the back of the Doorbell. The Plug-In Adapter will work with either the red or black cable connected to either terminal. You can learn more about the Plug-In Adapter (2nd Generation) here. I hope this helps!
