I just bought my ring and I’m using the battery but under settings it shows hardwire and it won’t function with video how do I switch this ! I’ve tried deleting the device and starting over but same issue any ideas?
Hey @Tmac8252. How do you have the device hardwired? What part of video is not working? Even if you have a battery operated device, if set up with a compatible set up, it will show as hardwired in the app and should not affect your videos.
The power source says hard wire and won’t let the unit operate correctly because it’s not hard wired. I called customer service at ring and they said it was a defective unit and are sending me a replacement. I love this company you don’t see many companies that stand behind their product. A+ customer service and company
