Glass break sensor also listen for smoke/CO2 alarms?

Can the glass break sensor also serve duty as an alarm smoke & CO2 listener?

If I position the glass break sensor in an ideal location for detecting broken glass AND near a smoke/CO2 detector, can it also alert us if the smoke/CO2 alarms go off?

Contacted support directly via chat - the glass break sensor will NOT also detect smoke/CO2 alarms going off. Too bad, it’d be nice to have 1 less device to buy …

Hi @USRing. You are correct that the Glass Break Sensor cannot listen for Smoke or CO alarms. The Ring Alarm Smoke & CO Listener can listen to your existing wired smoke and CO alarm, or you can also use the First Alert Z-Wave Smoke/CO Alarm Combo and connect it to the Ring app. Lastly, if you have a compatible Alexa device, you can use Alexa Guard to listen for the sounds of a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, or glass breaking.
