I bought a generic battery from Amazon for my ring camera. When fully charged it will not register on the ring app. When I reinstall the original ring battery it registers fine. What’s the problem?
Hi @user34802. A “generic” battery, as in one manufactured by a third-party company? Or is it a Ring Quick Release Battery Pack? If it is one manufactured by a third-party company, we do not recommend using it with our Ring Cameras, as they may not work with it.
