Gen2 Sensors - Battery and Tamper

I haven’t figured out the reason some of the sensors drain battery fast. I mean 2 to 3 weeks and it’s dead. Others last months and months. Only solution is to replace it; which isn’t cheap. Also have had temperature gradients cause tampers and thus alarms to sound. The plastic expands / contracts and causes it to eventually tamper. Putting a piece of tape from the case to the window solves this issue. Both are fundamental issues, I had my monitoring service call me at 3am one windy night because a window tampered.

Hi @DPotts. If the batteries on your Sensors are draining within 2-3 weeks, give our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406) a call to further investigate. I appreciate the tip as well for sensors that have issues with tampering because of environmental reasons. I hope that helps others.
