troubleshooting
I have a gen 1 ring doorbell that I’ve had on the same settings since day 1. It’s been hardwired since day 1 as well, I don’t remember how long but it’s been a very long time and never had to take off and charge. All of a sudden I’ve had to remove and charge 2-3 in just over a week. Any help or advice? Is the ring door bell dying because of a bad non replaceable battery?

Hi @FlUser. As with all batteries, there can be some degradation of battery life over time. Try performing a reset on the device by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then releasing it. Next, you'll reconnect it to WiFi.
