I have Ring Floodlight security camera and having an issue in floodlights turning on with motion. The lights are coming only when motion is few feet (4 to 5) away. Any motion further doesn’t turn light on. I know there is motion setting and that is already set to max. The camera angle is also good. Is anyone else experienced this kind of issue? This is my replacement camera. In my previous camera light motion sensor was working absolutely fine and detecting motion even 5 meters away. But that camera had pink picture issue so I got replacement from ring but now this new camera has light motion issue. This is really frustrating that since I have Ring camera there is one or other issues.
Hi @Amol. You can try resetting the Floodlight Cam by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is complete, you’ll want to set it back up in the Ring App with the steps under Set Up a Device. Once the new setup is done, readjust the settings and monitor it as the light should come on with motion. If they don’t, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available here.
