I have the Floodlight Cam Wired Plus in my back yard hooked up to a light switch in the on position and it is nice to turn the lights on before the dog goes out in case there is another animal back there. However, using the app to do this is a pain. I read you can flick the light switch off then on quickly and the lights should come on for a bit. How quickly does this happen? Any help on getting this to happen is grateful.
Hi @Coble. Turning the power off and then turning it back on will interfere with the wifi connection since the Floodlight Cam will temporarily lose power. It would be best to manually activate the light on your Floodlight Cam in the Ring app.
