Floodlight Cam snapshot not working

troubleshooting

I would like to submit another thread to point out that the floodlight camera's snapshot feature is not working. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app as suggested but it still does not work. Thinking there needs to be a firmware update or something to address. All I get is "This footage is unavailable" message in the playback window when the slider is set to display the snapshot data. This is on a brand new install I just did 3 days ago. All 3 cameras are having the same issue. Please advise Thanks

I am having this issue with my floodlight cam. I spent over an hour on the phone with customer service to no avail. Firmware is updated, toggled capture on and off, deleted app and reinstalled. I am using an Iphone 11Max Pro. This problem hust really started about a week ago. It only updates if I go to live view or go to device settings and go back to snapshot.

Hello neighbors! If the [Snapshot Capture](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034443672-Using-Your-Snapshot-Capture-Feature) feature on your Ring Security Camera or Doorbell isn't working, please try the troubleshooting steps listed below. - Review your [Event History Timeline](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000704763-Event-History-Timeline-Information) first to see look for any snapshots from the Snapshot Capture feature, as this is where they'll appear after they're taken. - Toggle the Snapshot Capture feature off and then toggle it back on in the Ring app. Test it out to see if snapshots are taken and appear in your Event Timeline. - Check the [RSSI](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-your-ring-device-rssi-good-vs-poor/229#M4) in the Device Health page of your Ring app to ensure your Ring Camera or Doorbell has a stable wifi connection. - Reset your Ring Camera or Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is done, set your Ring device back up in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. Turn the Snapshot Capture feature back on and test it out. If your Snapshot Capture is still not working after trying the steps above, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) so they can take a closer look. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support. :)

Bought and installed the floodlight camera, had no issues for longest time until I suspect they did a firmware update.  I lost my 15 second snapshot capability. Keeps reverting to 30 seconds even though set for 15 seconds, and possibly the edit zone was not taking properly.  After 3 times over a month trying various things, Ring will be replacing my floodlight.  I suspect a software issue with the last update as it was working fine with the 15 second setting.  My small indoor camera works fine with this 15 second setting.  I had no issue with customer service and they were helpful in trying to resolve the issue.  I do subscribe to the yearly subscription, so have the extended warranty.
