Floodlight cam lights permanently on

Newly installed Floodlight Cam, lights permanently on as soon as powered up. No flashing just on even for set up. Tried reset, have turned lights off manually, turned off motion detection, reduced light sensitivity, deactivated etc but all to no avail. Lights just on all of the time.

Hard wired and connected to WiFi correctly. Can activate siren, view camera etc but nothing will turn the lights off other than cutting the power.

Please help!!!

Hi there, @Northumberland123! This should not happen with the Floodlight Camera lights. While they may detect movement and trigger the lights, in most cases the lights should turn off thereafter. As you mentioned being able to live view, this is a great sign that your Floodlight Camera is online and working as intended, which makes the lights concerns even odder to hear about.

Please ensure this Floodlight Camera has a good RSSI, and that there are not any specialty or dimmer switches controlling the power to your Floodlight Camera. I recommend also checking for any linked devices in your Ring app, and your light schedules. Visit our Community post for the most recent information on the latest light scheduling feature.
