When I added a smart light (floodlight with no cam) I had to install a Ring Bridge and create a light group. Even tho I didn’t add my floodlight cam to that light group its light sensor stopped working. The cam still detected motion but the light did not. I called customer support but after all kinds of trouble shooting we could not fix the problem. After the call I tried adding the floodlight cam to a new light group and lo and behold the light started functioning properly again. Hope this helps if others encounter the same issue.

Thanks @Divedoggy for taking the time to let other “Ring Neighbors” know about this tip. This might possibly save someone else the time trying to figure this out, if they encounter the same issue, and they will appreciate it.
