Flood light wifi issues
wireless-security-cameras
I have a new flood light with camera that constantly disconnects from wifi. It’s outside and the on the other side of the wall is a Xbox that connects just fine. Even purchased and high end wifi extender that is 3 feet from the light and only had a wall and a double glass sliding door. Still disconnects and the only way to is to cut power and restart. Can’t even re enter setup mode to setup form beginning. Any help as to why this is happening and how to fix.

Hi @FlUser. With the wifi disconnecting on your Floodlight Cam, you'll want to check the RSSI as this will give you an indication of the signal strength that your Ring is receiving. You can read more about RSSI in our Community Post [here](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-your-ring-device-rssi-good-vs-poor/229#M4), as well as in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Understanding-RSSI-Values-and-Wireless-Signal-Strength). If you can't find a solution in those resources, you can give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times.
