Flood light cam sensitiviy deteriorating

troubleshooting
flood cam was bought and used for 5 years at another address and moved last year. it was working within expectations untill 3 months ago. now the light sensitivity works fine and the snapshots are working as advertized. but the camera record has become unreliable. It did not cover any acitvity during holloween night with over 60 groups stopping buy. when the live recording is activated the sensor functions works but sometime only record part of the video while recording all the audion or just a black screen with audio.

Hi @user27136. If your Cameras' motion detection and recordings are not working correctly, try the following steps: * [Reboot the Camera from the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-How-to-Reboot-your-Ring-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-from-the-Ring-App-). * Power cycle the Camera by shutting off its power for a minute and turning it back on. * Reboot your router by unplugging it for 10 seconds and plugging it back in. * Verify your Cameras signal strength, also known as [RSSI, is at a good level](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-your-ring-device-rssi-good-vs-poor/229). * Try checking the [ports and protocols ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/205385394-The-Protocols-and-Ports-Used-by-Ring-Devices)used by Ring devices to ensure they’re open on your network. * If you have a dual-band router, try creating a guest network using only the 2.4GHz network and [changing the network on your Camera](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034825092-How-to-Reconnect-Your-Ring-Video-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-to-Wifi-or-Change-Your-Wifi-Network) to the guest network. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) for further assistance. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
