Flood / Freeze sensor keeps erasing settings

We live in a very cold climate and our flood / freeze sensor is in our sump pump near the corner of our home. The concrete gets quite cold because of where it is, so it frequently trips the freeze sensor throughout the winter.
We went in to the app and changed the setting so the temperature setting does not trigger an alarm, but the problem is that it regularly changes that setting back, at which point our entire house is awakened by the alarm. It works properly for a few weeks, then randomly changes the setting back.
How can we permanently change this setting?
