Please can you help with installation. Can I fit the ring pro 2 just to the existing doorbell wires?
The doorbell chime box is wired to the light main and running through a 8v 1 amp transformer?
Happy to you the existing chime, but will this work?

Hey @Quickthez1000! This will depend on the model Video Doorbell you have. There is a Ring Pro and a Video Doorbell 2. The answer will vary depending. You can certainly use the existing wiring for your old doorbell/ chime kit, as long as the power supply is AC.
Our battery powered Doorbells can accept a charge and utilize your chime kit, as long as the power supply is 8 to 24VAC.
The Ring Pro, however, requires 16 to 24VAC to operate. I hope this helps!
