Hi, new here. Just purchased an indoor/outdoor ring camera. The box contains two cables, one of which is thicker than the other, I can see that they can be joined together to extend the overall length. However, I will only need to use the thinner of the two cables to secure my camera on an outside wall and plugging the camera into my garage. My question is this: Is the thinner cable weather proof and can therefore be used on my outside wall?
Hi @Cam57. Can you verify which model of Ring Camera you purchased? The model name should be on the back of the camera itself and on the original packaging. Additionally, would you mind sharing a picture of the two cables you have? This way I can make sure I know exactly which accessory you’re talking about.
