I keep getting false Ring alerts for my doorbell. Not motion alerts but actual ring alerts, like someone has physically pushed the doorbell button, but no one is there. What is going on and how do I get it to stop?
Hey @AndreaLH. Can you let us know which model of Doorbell you have? For a concern like this, I would suggest resetting your Doorbell and taking it through a new setup in the Ring App. To complete a reset on your Doorbell, please hold down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. Once that’s complete, you’ll need to set it back up in the Ring App again by following the steps under Set Up a Device. Let me know if that clears up this concern for you!
