Faild device 3 weeks after one year warranty

We have a hardwired ring doorbell with battery that we activated on 2/4/2021. Today is 2/28/2022. For the last 2 months, the battery will no longer hold a charge. Today I called customer service. They would not offer any troubleshooting other that a factory reset, which I recently did. The battery will not hold a charge. They refused to send a new battery and said I need to purchase a new ring doorbell. So, ring has left us with a non-functioning video doorbell. I refuse to pay for a new one. I spoke with Zurina who said that was their only “offer”. I also spoke with Zurina’s supervisor who informed me they offer a 35% off coupon. No deal. I disconnected my service and will never buy a ring doorbell again. We were treated like we aren’t even a customer. I would not recommend the purchase of a ring product to anyone. Waste of time and money. I will be selling the chime at our next garage sale.
