Faceplate doesn’t fit

After having the Ring video doorbell 2, alarm and numerous cameras my doorbell began to have condensation on the inside I contacted ring and they sent out a replacement doorbell with an upgrade to the video doorbell 3 pro free of charge. Doorbell arrived today firstly it was the wrong doorbell but this didn’t concern me as it was still an upgrade on my doorbell 2. Secondly the two supplied faceplates refuse to fit flush to the body no matter how I angle and jiggle it about. Consequently I’ve given up and gone back to my doorbell 2. As a long term customer and an avid ring fan I am feeling extremely let down by this as now I have to again contact support to resolve this issue.

I do believe the replacement doorbell may be a refurbished one which I wasn’t made aware of as the doorbell body has numerous scratches which wouldn’t have been there on a new one.
