Faceid to open app

Hello!

So a few days ago my daughter was playing on our iPad and because we receive ring notifications often, she tapped on one, opened the app, and accidentally hit fire sos. Fire truck arrived in 5 minutes. Love the fact that this mishap shows the service works, but I don’t really want this to happen again.

Is there a way to prevent children from opening the app without faceid or a passcode. I tried looking it up but couldn’t find anything helpful.

Appreciate the help.

Hi @9ede26a7d43c054beac0. My daughter steals my iPad more than I’d like to admit . Right now, the best was to mitigate this would be to log out of the Ring app when not using it. I realize this is not an ideal solution, but it is a possibility. Using Face ID would be an excellent addition to the Ring App.
