I hooked up the device and connected the existing doorbell wires. Existing chime did not ring. I cleaned the existing wires and they do set off the existing chime when touched together. Existing doorbell is Nutone KB-10.
Hi @RingDoorbell2ndgen. According to the Chime Kit Compatibility List, the Nutone KB-10 should be compatible so it should work properly. Have you tried resetting the Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds? If you haven’t, I’d suggest giving that a try before testing it again.
