Existing compatible mechanical chime won’t work with Ring Doorbell Pro 2. I triple checked all connections and have the Pro Power kit v3 installed. The doorbell chime/app notification/Ring plugin chime all work fine. Looks like the mechanical chime is not getting enough power with power kit installed. Any fix available for this? The post here (Doorbell Pro 2 - Not use Pro Power Kit v3?) suggests replacing with Power kit v2 fixed the issue, but tech support says that’s not available.
Hi @user31642. Can you please verify the make and model of the chime kit you’re using? If possible, please also share a picture of how the Pro Power Kit v3 is installed on the chime kit.
