Elite not entering setup mode

Ring elite been installed a couple of years with no issues.
Yesterday it failed to connect.

Tried hard reset by pressing black button for 15 secs black door bell just slow pulsing white.

Never enters setup mode never says ‘ring door bell is setup mode bla bla’ no Wi-Fi broadcast etc.

It’s hard wired via Ethernet and I use a Ethernet power adaptor.

Hi @BiggieBig! If possible, try wiring via the AC terminals to wiring coming from a 16 to 24 VAC power supply, rather than the POE. Although you described lights coming from the Doorbell Elite, perhaps it is needing more power to enter setup mode. Of course, this should work with your power over ethernet connection, but wiring is a great test to see if that might be the culprit.

I recommend also changing out the ethernet cable and even trying other POE ports on your router/ switch, if available. Feel free to let us know how this goes! :slight_smile:
