During setup of new device app says to turn of VPN but there is no VPN

I am trying to set up new Floodlight Cameras. But during the setup process using the app on my Android phone, after I scan the QR code on the device the App puts up a screen saying I need to turn off my VPN on my phone to complete setup.

I don’t have a VPN on my phone or my home network.

How do I get around the app misfiring on a non-existent VPN?

Hi there, @TheRockyH! Besides double checking your mobile device for any VPN-like features, please also ensure there are no Android apps that conflict with the Ring app.

Alternatively, if you have another mobile device and can use it for the setup process in the Ring app, you might then be able to operate it normally from there on your Android device. Feel free to let us know how this goes! :slight_smile:
