I have 2 Ring Spotlight Cam Plus units. I bought one in June 2023 and now another just this week. The original goes into dual power mode when the wire power is shut off. The new camera does not and will fully drain the battery in 3 hours. The power mode on both only shows wired or battery mode, no dual mode. Like i said, the ffirst camera goes into low power mode but the new does not after power is removed. I swapped the batteries around to make sure it was not that.

Hi @user70049. Dual-Power Mode is automated and will not show up as an option in your Power Mode settings. This Help Center [article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/18562549974932-Understanding-Dual-Power-Mode) has further information on Dual-Power Mode. If it is not working correctly on one of your Cameras, try factory resetting it by pressing and holding the setup button on it for 20–25 seconds. [Reconnect it back to your wifi](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034825092-How-to-Reconnect-Your-Video-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-to-Wifi) after the reset.
