Hi switched from Ring 1 to Ring 3 yesterday
Ring 1 live view works perfect, ring 3 poor internet connection and problems to connect
What? Have not changed places of my internet. Tested outside at the bell and have solid and good internet connection. Run thru the suggested solutions in this community and so on.
Must be problems with ring wifi in generation 3!!
Do I need to return the product?

Hi there, @ekke201! The first thing that comes to mind here, is the difference in network connection options between both Doorbell models you have. The Video Doorbell 1st generation can only connect to 2.4 Ghz wifi, whereas the Doorbell 3 can connect to 5 Ghz and 2.4 Ghz wifi. I recommend using the 2.4 ghz for the most dependable signal over distance and through exterior walls. Please also ensure the Video Doorbell 3 battery is fully charged during first time use and that the update completed after the first time setup. Feel free to let us know how this goes!
