'*Hi hopefully someone will know the answer to this**I’ve purchased the ring doorbell pro2 hard wired with the plug in adapter which will replace my old faulty doorbell pro which was powered by the ring AUBT1-24 din rail transformer. **Can I use the existing din rail transformer to power the new doorbell pro2 version ??**Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question.* ![image|375x500](upload://1u5JcYysEDwlQoG3uLgeDmLTThi.jpeg)

Hi @Tosh88. If you're wiring your Video Doorbell Pro 2 to the transformer, it needs to be 16-24 VAC, 10VA (40VA Max), 50/60Hz. If you choose to use the [Plug-In Adapter](https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-plugin-adapter-gen-2), this will be plugged into a standard power outlet and the cable is then run to the Doorbell itself. I hope this helps clarify things.
