I am trying to install the doorbell at a rental and the mounting screw are too long. They will go into the doorframe making a hole I cannot have. What are the details of the screws so I can purchase a smaller one? I know it is smaller than a 4-40 screw but local stores don’t carry anything smaller so I need to know the size before I can buy online.
Hi @HuhSJ. The mounting screw is a Phil 2# , F+ST3*25TP2. You can probably take the screw you have to a local hardware store and find a size application for your application. I hope this helps.
