Everything I’ve read on this site and other sites regarding the persistent connectivity issues encountered with Doorbell Pro should trigger some curiosity on the side of the folks engineering this device. I, as well as many other customers have followed the instructions and there seems to be a problem with the temporary network created during setup. <Ring “xyz” unable to join network. >
Not sure why Ring developers don’t push a fix via the auto-updates?
Hi @unhappyringcust. When there is an issue joining the temporary Ring network, it’s often related to the settings on your phone. What type of phone are you using? Try turning of your Smart Network Switch (Android) or WiFi Assist (iPhone). I hope this is helpful.
