Doorbell Pro First Connection problems


Today I’ve got my Doorbell Pro. At my first try to connect the bell with the App, the network doesn’t connected to the bell. My smartphone can’t connected to the Ring WLAN.

at the second try, the bell doesn’t go in the Setup status. The light of the bell is still blue in the top and flash.

I’ve read, the bell must connected with the wires for 1h to load the battery(?!)

Now it’s more than 6h. And nothing. Still just the flashing light in the top of the ring.

What’s wrong?! Is the battery broken?

Hi @CAJB. You can try to reset your Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. This usually resolves any problems like this. Once the reset is complete, attempt to set it up in the Ring App once again. The problem doesn’t solve. I’ve contact the support three times. They can’t really help at this problem.

Now I think, the battery is broken cause the blue ring doesn’t fill at first. Maybe that’s the problem.
In the next days I receive a new bell and hope it works with the new.
