The microphone on our doorbell pro 2 has never worked (2 years in and only just getting to figure it out).
Can speak through app to camera fine and person at the door can hear perfectly through speaker, but nothing the other way.

Disable Bluetooth on your phone.
Turn off the wifi on your phone and test to see if it works on mobile data. If it works on mobile data, it means it could be network-related, so you will want to review this Help Center page on what settings you would need to change on your router.
