I noticed today the the Ring doorbell is not recording historical motion. Other devices are working as intended. Anyone else having this issue?
Hi there, @BigToes! As long as motion detection and motion zones are enabled on your Video Doorbell it should certainly detect motion. If you use the Modes feature, please ensure this Doorbell is not included in a disarmed mode. As you mentioned your other Cameras working as intended, your subscription is likely active, but it’s always worth checking to be sure.
If motion recordings are not showing up in the Ring app Timeline, please check the event history section of your Ring app. Alternatively, try logging in at Ring.com and viewing your history via web browser, just to confirm that recordings are at least being saved for this Doorbell, as intended.
