Hi I bought ring doorbell wired but it says turn electric off and plug pins into door chime box, I don’t have a normal bell, is there something else I need to buy for this to work

It sounds like you have a Video Doorbell Pro, in which the Pro Power kit is required during install, and can be used as a bypass if there is no chime kit existing. Alternatively, you can also find a Plug-In Adapter on our accessories page at Ring.com.
