My ring 1st generation doorbell goes offline every couple days now, nothing has changed. It is hardwired in and has worked great up until now. I have to remove and reset each time which is becoming a real hassle.

Hi neighbors. If your Ring Doorbell or Security Camera is offline or is falling offline frequently, there are a few different troubleshooting steps you can take. First, review the RSSI for your Doorbell or Camera on the Device Health page. The [RSSI](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-your-ring-device-rssi-good-vs-poor/229#M4) is a measure of the strength of the wifi connection that your Ring device is receiving, and a high RSSI can cause your Ring device to fall offline. You can also find more wifi information and troubleshooting steps in our Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020044511-How-to-Make-Wifi-Work-For-You), as you may need to move your router closer to your Doorbell or Camera if possible. If these troubleshooting suggestions don't help, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) so they can assist further. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
