I installed a new Doorbell Pro 2 two months ago, Nutone Mechanical Chime (on the list), a Pro Power Kit (properly installed), and a Ring brand transformer with 16V 30VA power output.
In the last week, it randomly rings, but doesn’t show as a ring or another event in the app.
What could be the issue?
Hi @JonseyFromOH. The first thing I would check is for loose connections. If any of the wires are loose on the terminals, this could cause a “ghost ding”. Next, make sure you have the correct selection in the Ring app. Under the General Settings menu, make sure that you have “Mechanical” selected for your chime kit. If this problem persists, take note of the date and time that this happens and please follow up with our support team.
