Door sensor on wrong network

Door sensor will not factory reset. I first could not connect to base station, thought batteries were maybe the issue changed set twice still nothing, have removed from dashboard and tried to reconnect, It sees the sensor but requests a factory reset, I have done the reset mulitple times, removed batteries and reinserted multiple times yet still cannot get the sensor added, constantly the same thing, Not on network do a factory reset… pulling my hair out with it.

There’s a pin hole reset on the sensor itself.

  1. Slide the Contact Sensor off its base. Ensure that the batteries are installed.
  2. Press and hold the pinhole reset button.
  3. Continue holding down the pinhole reset button until the LED light turns red, then release.
  4. Re-add the Contact Sensor to your Ring Alarm using the Ring app.
