I have reconnected a few times, still nothing.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Ring App?
I have the exact same issue on my Samsung. I reinstalled twice and still no notification…

It may be the battery setting in the app. Try this. Found it on a site and seems to correct the issue for them.
Amend the following App Launch battery settings; Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > Ring > Battery > App Launch > Switched off Manage Automatically and enabled all 3 manual options; Auto-launch, Secondary launch and Run in background
What work for me. I installed the ring apt again on my phone. Then it seem like I had to wait for a few hours to work properly. The ring didn’t work right away when I reinstall the apt. There are some great ideas when you Google the problem.
