Hi all, I am thinking about getting the Ring security cameras. But I want to know if the camera records the video continuously? If not, for how long will it record the video after an event is detected? Thank you advance for your help!
Hey @hoken. I’m happy to answer any questions you have to help you decide which Ring device will be the best fit! At this time, none of our Doorbells or Cameras are designed to record continuously and 24/7 recording is not an option. Our battery-operated devices will record when motion is detected or the Doorbell button is pressed for up to 30 seconds, while our powered devices will record under the same circumstances for up to 60 seconds.
