Cancelled my cable/internet provider and now my doorbell is not connected.
I had the same basic question myself. I was curious if you could still monitor the Ring cameras using a device (phone, tablet, computer) as long as they were operating on the same local network (LAN) as the camera. So far, everything I have read states this will not work. The cameras need access to the outside world (WAN) to be veiwed even though the viewing device is on the same internal network as the cameras. The camera signal travels out to the “cloud” first before becoming available for viewing no matter how or where your viewing device is connected.
