Hello, have set up my first Ring camera, but when I choose Disarm because I’m home, it’s still triggered by my movement (so for now, having to switch it off completely from main wall socket). I thought Disarm would turn the camera off and not be triggered by my movements. Is the Disarm function not working or have I misunderstood what it means?

Hi @Keeks. What specific model of Ring Camera is this? Is it mounted indoors? If so, this could be a contributing factor! This Help Center article here explain how Mode for Cameras works. I hope this helps!

My ring doorbell has been working flawlessly for over a year. Recently added a battery powered outside stick up cam & it works, but my Disarm does not?
Seems there’s no way to disarm the door bell or cam now? I tried the toggle between modes - no help.
Any thoughts/help???
