Is there a way to disable the Ring alarm (2nd gen) motion sensors completely when disarmed to help preserve the battery charge?

Note, I’m not asking about disabling notifications, but about disabling motion sensors completely when disarmed (because I saw in the app that they continuously detect motion even when the system is disarmed).

Hi @Andrei1. No, you cannot turn the Motion Detectors off without manually removing the battery. With normal activity, the batteries shouldn’t drain too quickly. In more high traffic areas where there is a lot of motion, the batteries may drain more quickly due to the increased amount of traffic.
