I am trying to set up Ring 1 and it says that I am not the owner. My wife registered initially using a work email that she no longer has access to. I have two step verification on my phone and have my email. The app says I am the owner. I have gone through the set up numerous times.
It is an older Ring doorbell without a QR code or 5 number code. Any help appreciated
Hi @Deej. If the Doorbell was previously setup under a different email, that email is the devices owner. If you can’t login with that email to remove the Doorbell off of that account, you’ll have to contact our support team to get the email switched. Be sure to have the MAC ID of the device handy, as well as both of the emails. Our support team will be able to take care of this for you.
