Device transfer request connection issue

I just recently bought a house with several ring products. I am starting by trying to start the door bell cam, but each time I scan the QR code it tells me the device is registered to a different owner. When I request a device transfer, I get a connection issue message. I have the most updated version of the app, and I have read through the help page. Obviously the doorbell isn’t connected to the internet because I have a new internet service.

Hi @user45400. Try doing your setup on a different phone or tablet using the same account you have created on your phone to see if it makes a difference.
