What is the simplest way to set up my detached garage with an alarm/siren with my base station being in my house.
Do any of the plug in cameras have an alarm that would sound?
The more I read the more confused I get.

Hi @Gigi76. Typically we recommend that the Ring Alarm system be used all within the same building. In the case of detached garages or sheds, it’s more difficult to ensure that the sensors maintain a reliable and strong connection with the Base Station, as the materials in the walls as well as the distance will cause interference.
However, if you have a detached garage and you want to add a bit of security, you can see if one of our Security Cameras will do the trick, as several models have a siren that you can activate to deter unwanted visitors.
